Your Role
We're looking for a Maintenance Lead for our B&D Garage Doors business based at our Clontarf manufacturing facility who is engaging and dynamic with a passion for maintenance and project engineering. As a member of our team, you'll have the ownership and support you need to succeed, both from your leaders and your colleagues.
This role will be well-suited to someone with a reliability or project engineering background looking to step into their first leadership role.
Responsibilities
* Lead the maintenance strategy across the Clontarf site
* Perform project works, upgrading machinery, installing new machinery and heavy involvement with CI projects site-wide
* Lead a small team of mechanical and electrical trades
* Accountable for the reliability of production assets across site
* Oversee Lean activities to improve Overall Equipment Efficiencies (OEE), with a structured approached to increase Quality, Availability and Performance
Skills & Experience
* Problem-solving abilities, both hands-on and theoretical
* Experience in managing small teams to achieve best outcomes
* Ability to manage projects to a timeline, though no specific project management software experience is required
* Trade or engineering qualification is required
* For electricians, a Queensland electrical licence is necessary
* For engineers, a degree qualification is required, with a preference for Engineers Australia membership
* Manufacturing or similar industry experience is preferred but not required
* Specialized skills in hydraulics or roll former are desirable but not mandatory
