A growing digital dentistry organisation is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to assist customers who depend on advanced CAD/CAM technology. This position involves a mix of remote support, on-site visits, equipment installation, system maintenance, and user training. You'll work closely with clinicians and technicians to keep their digital workflows running smoothly. Based in Melbourne, the role offers hybrid work with travel across Australia and New Zealand for customer support and equipment rollouts.
What You'll Bring
Our client is looking for someone who can diagnose issues confidently, communicate clearly, and stay steady when technology fails at the worst possible moment. Your background could come from a variety of technical paths. Experience in dentistry is helpful but not essential.
Preferred experience:
2+ years in CAD/CAM technical support, mechanical systems, CNC machinery, mechatronics, or digital manufacturing
* Hands-on exposure to precision milling equipment (e.g., imes-icore, DGSHAPE, Roland)
* Familiarity with 3D printing systems such as Asiga or similar platforms
* Knowledge of dental CAD/CAM software (3Shape, exocad, Blender, or equivalent)
* Experience within a dental laboratory or as a Dental Technician (advantageous)
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
* A current driver's licence
* Full Australian work rights
