Change Manager (Part Time)
Location: West Leederville, WA (Hybrid WFH)
FT/PT: Part Time 24 hours per week (e.g. 3 days x 8 hours or 4 days x 6 hours).
Start date: 22nd September 2025
Contract Length: 4 months contract + Potential 12 months extension
Pay rate: $130 per hour plus Super
Overview
Our client is currently implementing a new procurement system and is seeking a part time Change Manager to join the project team.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the project change initiatives are planned, managed, and implemented in a way that minimizes disruption to the organization and end users.
Key Responsibilities
* Change Plan Development: Refine the change management plan to meet the needs of the project.
* Stakeholder Analysis & Engagement: Identify and analyse all key stakeholders impacted by change.
* Develop and execute engagement and communication plans to ensure all stakeholder groups understand the change and their roles in its success.
* Impact Assessment: Analyse the effect of proposed changes on business processes, systems, and personnel. Develop plans to mitigate risks and manage resistance.
* Communication Planning & Implementation: Develop clear, concise, and tailored messaging for stakeholders at all levels.
* Training & Support: Coordinate the development and delivery of training materials and sessions to prepare staff for changes.
* Change Readiness Assessment: Assess the organisation's change readiness, identify areas requiring additional support, and recommend interventions to improve preparedness.
* Monitoring & Reporting: Track progress on change initiatives, gathering feedback and performance metrics.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the project manager and project team to ensure cohesive and coordinated change delivery.
* Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with change initiatives, proactively addressing issues that may hinder successful change implementation.
Required Skills and Competencies
* Change Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of change management methodologies e.g., Prosci ADKAR and practical experience applying them in diverse organisational contexts.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for developing clear, targeted messages and presenting complex information in an accessible manner.
* Stakeholder Management: Ability to build strong relationships.
* Analytical Thinking: Proficient in conducting impact analyses, risk assessments, and readiness evaluations.
* Training & Facilitation: Ability to design and deliver effective training programs and facilitate workshops or focus groups.
* Problem Solving: Creative in overcoming obstacles and addressing resistance to change.
Qualifications
* Professional certification in change management (e.g., Prosci Certified Change Practitioner) is highly desirable.
* Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in change management.
* Demonstrated success in delivering complex organisational change initiatives.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams in large organisations is preferred
