What You'll Be Doing
As a Network Engineer in our operations team, you will support a major transition program while ensuring the customer's network environment remains stable, secure and high performing.
You will have the chance to work end to end across design input, transition, management and continuous improvement, surrounded by an experienced team committed to raising the bar.
Transition Services
Work with the transition team to onboard the customer environment onto Orro's management platform
Support the development of fit for purpose support processes including patch management, capacity management and change management
Management and Support
Ensure the customer environment is proactively monitored and maintained to reduce incidents
Plan and implement changes with customers and internal support teams in line with agreed policies
Investigate and resolve complex incidents escalated from our Level 2 engineering team
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve reliability, performance and cost efficiencyResearch and test emerging technologies including SD WAN, Wi Fi 6 and 7, automation platforms and network visibility tools
What You'll Bring
Essentials
You hold a CCNA and bring more than five years of hands-on experience in large scale network operations, demonstrating strong capability across:
Cisco routing and switching
Cisco wireless including AirOS and **** WLC
Cisco Catalyst SD WAN Viptela
Cisco ASA and Firepower
Cisco Catalyst Centre DNAC
Cisco ISE
Bonus Points
Experience in a Managed Services environment
Experience with Cisco ACI
CCNP certification
