An exciting opportunity has become available for a Parts Manager to join our team at Glenelg BMW & MINI, within our newly renovated, state of the art dealership.

Join us as a Parts Manager and help us achieve excellence - for our clients, our business and brand partners, and your rewarding career.

We operate a 5-day week Monday to Friday.

The Parts Manager is responsible for ensuring stock levels and inventory are within the desired parameters.

Key responsibilities include:

* Staffing - building a productive, efficient team that will professionally communicate.
* Review Performance Evaluations with staff & the Dealer Principal.
* Customer Satisfaction - maintain a high-level customer satisfaction.
* Protect current client base and build the B2B business.
* Introduce & develop processes and procedures to ensure a smooth operation within your department.
* Ensure stock levels are appropriate to current business needs.
* Inventory management.
* Customer support as necessary.
* Parts obsolescence management.
* Ensuring department safety procedures are adhered to at all times.

Our Ideal Candidate:

* Prior automotive industry experience.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Effective time management.
* Word, excel, internet and email skills.
* Supervisory/prior management experience.
* Strong customer service experience.
* Well-developed influencing and negotiation skills.
* A friendly and self-motivated personality.
* A genuine love for people and the sales process.
* Current Drivers License.
