Jones Welding Solutions (JWS) are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied position combining administration with accounts support and has hands-on experience using Xero and/or MYOB.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing Accounts Receivable (AR): invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-ups.
• Managing Accounts Payable (AP): processing supplier invoices and payments.
• Bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assisting with month-end reporting and general bookkeeping tasks.
• General administrative duties including filing, correspondence, and document management; and
• Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal staff as required.
About You:
• Previous experience in an administrative or accounts support role.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of administrative or accounts support experience.
• Working knowledge of Xero and/or MYOB.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles (AR & AP).
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Confident with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
• Excellent communication skills and a professional manner; and
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
