While our main manufacturing and operations base is located in South-East Queensland, our interstate stockholdings and fit-on-site teams form a vital link, delivering quality products to our customers across the nation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an open, accountable and self-driven leader: to join our team, and create positive relationships and communication amongst key stakeholders and team members. The successful applicant will also be in charge of coordinating daily pre-assembling, fitting and distribution efforts of a variety of ute trays and accessories, to customers within Western Australia. The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for stock management, deliveries, factory upkeep and most importantly, developing their team's work skills. The successful applicant will be the primary point of contact for our warehouse:
1. Coordinating and assisting where required with daily product pre-assembly,
2. Coordinating and reporting on daily fitment services, assisting themselves where required,
3. Overseeing other product distribution, to customers in the region and also those accessed via rural freight onforwarding,
4. Regular stock management and reporting to company management in QLD, on all facets of warehouse operations,
5. Warehouse and equipment upkeep,
6. Communication and development of the team's skills and capabilities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals that possess skills and experience in the following areas:
* A willingness to divide work time between the depot floor and office-based duties.
* Applicants with automotive, manufacturing or engineering work experience will be highly regarded.Previous warehouse/branch/depot management experience is a must.
* Availability to work between 6:00 am to 3:30 pm from Monday to Friday. Some reasonable additional hours may be required during busy periods.
* Well-developed communication and time-management skills – both in written form (clear, concise, accurate) and verbally (open, honest, accountable, compassionate).
* An ability to positively and proactively promote our company's key values of Quality, Efficiency, Safety and Service.
* Current manual driver's license – a must.
* Current WA forklift licence – highly regarded.
* LR or MR Truck licence - highly regarded.
* A current resume, with a minimum of two recent referees.
Communication and Reporting with company management are two key elements in achieving ongoing success in the role.
