About The Role
As part of the Distribution Centre team in Islington, you'll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to maintain fire safety protection, and undertake tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.
Responsibilities
* Loading and accurately tracking, submitting and completing delivery runs locally
* Maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping within the branch and vehicles
* Booking stock – receiving and dispatching
* Handling over‐the‐counter retail trade sales and customer quotes and delivering exceptional customer service
* Picking orders, warehousing and stock control activities
* General warehouse duties and stock take
* Being a supportive team member
Qualifications
* Excellent customer service skills
* Professionally presented
* Current driver's licence
* Forklift licence preferred
* Computer skills
* Commitment to learning and professional development
* Experience in customer service, confidence, initiative and enthusiasm
* Team player with exceptional safety awareness
