FLAT TOP DELIVERY DRIVER
Canberra Sand & Gravel operates landscape centres at Hume, Mitchell and Parkwood, as well as a production facility in Fyshwick.
We are seeking a competent and reliable driver to join our successful team.
About the Role
The position involves driving a rigid truck to deliver our products within the ACT and surrounding region, as well as other duties as required.
This role is primarily focused on:
* Operating our flat top truck to deliver bulka bags of material to building sites
* Driving rigid tippers as required
* Safe loading, unloading, and delivery of materials
* Professional interaction with customers and site personnel
About You
* Current HR licence (essential) - Truck has a crash box transmission, so need to have no restrictions (Auto/Syncro will need to be upgraded)
* High Risk Forklift Licence preferred but not essential
* Forklift experience preferred; training can be provided
* Willingness to learn and upgrade skills (including Road Ranger gearbox training)
* Physically fit, reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic
* Good customer service and communication skills
Note: Our vehicles are manual (non‐synchro/auto). Training could be provided to the right applicant to upgrade to Road Ranger gearboxes.
