About the role
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Angular) to join our team and play a key role in designing, building and enhancing our custom application, WebRater. You'll collaborate closely with Business Analysts and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure solutions, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Design and develop responsive, high-performance front-end features in WebRater using Angular, and participate in technical design discussions with the broader engineering team.
* Collaborate with Business Analysts and other engineers to translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure front-end solutions.
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end defects and production issues
* Ensure code quality through reviews, automated testing, and adherence to agreed engineering standards and best practices.
* Support wider team by sharing knowledge, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to continuous improvement of our practices.
About you
You thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment where high-quality delivery matters. You bring strong hands-on experience with Angular, having built and supported complex, user-facing applications, and have a solid grasp of front-end fundamentals including HTML, CSS, component-driven design, and integrating with Azure-hosted web services.
Alongside this, you have strong experience with C# / .NET and GitHub/Git, and are comfortable working across the full development lifecycle. You bring working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices, confident SQL skills, and familiarity with Azure environments and services (such as Azure Data Factory).
You're comfortable collaborating closely with backend and data engineers, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and are a pragmatic problem-solver who stays calm under pressure while balancing speed and quality in a small, high-impact team.
