What will your role be?
One of the biggest priorities we have for Australia is a complete review of our Total Reward offering, to position Reward as an enabler of the Talent agenda for the market and ensure that our compensation and benefits offering is competitive and defined purposefully to support our employee’s needs. This role will lead this review from end to end, ensuring that we are capable to deliver a significant shift into our current offering while being aligned to our global reward philosophy and implementing current and innovative market practices.
Leadership responsibilities:
- Implements total reward programs (i.e. base pay, incentives, benefits, etc.) aligned to Diageo’s global reward philosophy & strategy
- Administers the annual competitive pay analysis using market data and global pay proposition parameters to develop salary ranges for the market.
- Completes job levelling / job pricing reviews utilizing global grading methodology
- Responsible for local benefit plan design, administration, compliance and vendor management
- Demonstrates deep business knowledge, participates in discussions and leads training sessions with executives and understands fundamental business drivers needed for success
- Keeps abreast of trends and best practices in industry through membership of HR societies, and industry compensation & benefits forums
- May lead and/or participate in global total rewards projects that involve development and/or re-design of existing total rewards programs
What will you bring to the table?
- 10+ years relevant experience in total rewards / compensation & benefits
- Working knowledge of relevant regulations in market
- Possesses strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with ability to generate insight from data and generate action plans from insights.
- Strong self-starter who is eager to learn and has the tenacity to follow through on assigned projects to successful completion.
- Displays excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and builds relationships with key stakeholders within the business functions and HR team.
- Familiarity with Workday, Mercer and Willis Towers Watson’s Global Grading System preferred
