Role Overview
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Operations is accountable for the end to end performance of Beerenberg's Hahndorf site, leading production, maintenance and site services.
This is a genuine Head of role with responsibility for manufacturing performance, site leadership, capital planning and operational strategy. You will play a key role in strengthening capability, improving efficiency and ensuring operations are positioned to support future growth.

About the Person
You are a senior operations leader who has led complex manufacturing environments and understands what it takes to balance performance, people and quality.
You bring commercial thinking, practical leadership and the ability to influence across the business. You build strong teams, create accountability and are motivated by improving how things work, not maintaining the status quo.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and execution of operational and manufacturing strategy aligned to business objectives
* Provide leadership across production, maintenance and site services to drive performance, safety and accountability
* Oversee manufacturing operations to achieve production, service, quality and cost targets
* Ensure the condition, compliance and performance of buildings, infrastructure, utilities and operational assets
* Lead capital planning, budgeting and delivery of operational and improvement projects
* Build and develop a high performing operations leadership team and broader workforce capability
* Drive continuous improvement, automation and data informed decision making across the site
* Partner with cross functional teams to support new product introduction and operational readiness
* Champion safety, quality, compliance and sustainability across all operational activities
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Significant senior leadership experience within FMCG, manufacturing or a comparable operational environment
* Proven success leading site operations across production, maintenance and asset management
* Demonstrated capability in shaping and executing operational and manufacturing strategy that align and advance business objectives
* Strong financial and commercial capability, including operating and capital budgets
* Experience leading safety, quality and compliance within regulated environments
* Track record driving continuous improvement, efficiency and operational change
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills across suppliers, partners and leadership teams
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent leadership experience
