Grand Pacific Health (GPH) is a for-purpose community-based organisation providing high-quality health services to support physical and mental health management. GPH's mission is to deliver equitable healthcare, focusing on vulnerable, at-risk populations, and regional communities.
GPH employs over 400 staff, including qualified health professionals, peer workers, and community workers, across a large regional footprint in NSW and ACT.
About the position
The Executive General Manager, Consumer Safeguarding and Quality, oversees systems and processes that protect and advocate for consumers' rights accessing GPH services.
This role ensures compliance with privacy laws, manages accreditation and reporting, and addresses complaints and incidents, aligning with GPH's values of fairness, equity, and respect. It leads initiatives for continuous quality improvement and ensures adherence to the GPH Service Delivery and Safeguarding Framework standards.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Location is flexible, based at any GPH hub across Southern NSW and ACT, including ACT, Queanbeyan, Goulburn, South West Sydney, Illawarra, South Coast, and Murrumbidgee regions.
We are looking for someone with:
* Tertiary qualifications in health management, quality management, law, or related fields.
* Extensive experience in consumer safeguarding, quality management, or compliance within health, aged care, or not-for-profit sectors.
* Experience managing privacy concerns, compliance reporting, and accreditation, especially in line with Aged Care Quality Standards and National Standards for Mental Health Services.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to build cohesive, high-performing teams.
