We are seeking a Policy Analyst to work at the centre of Australian government policy thinking on financial system and services, corporations, data and digital issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct in-depth research and analysis to provide expert advice to Treasury Ministers on matters relevant to the work of a unit or project team.
* Prepare reports, briefings to Treasury Ministers, submissions to Cabinet, speeches, replies to parliamentary questions, and other correspondence to deliver timely and high-quality outcomes.
* Implement reforms through drafting consultation papers, undertaking regulatory assessments, and collaborating with Treasury's Law Design Division to develop draft legislation.
* Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, advocacy groups, corporations, and industry associations.
