The Polestar Commercial Manager – Fleet & Pre-Owned will lead our Fleet & Business department and Pre-Owned program.
This role will support Polestar's fleet and pre-owned vehicle sales growth in Australia and drive operational excellence in these areas.
It will also oversee and manage the company's internal vehicle fleet and remarketing activities.Key ResponsibilitiesFleet & Business :Actively pursue incremental fleet sales to increase market share.Enhance fleet sales performance by engaging with internal and external stakeholders as a Polestar ambassador.Develop and implement national fleet and business strategies, operational plans, and targets.Design and deploy fleet procedures, campaigns, and programs to support operations and generate orders.Manage fleet sales and operations directly.Support Key Account Managers with prospecting, account management, and negotiations.Explore new fleet channels and segments for business development.Set monthly delivery targets for fleet volume.Understand and apply EV and other government subsidies for corporate and lease customers.Report to the Head of Commercial Operations.Pre-Owned :Manage pre-owned vehicle sales and monitor stock levels.Optimize pre-owned sales processes and develop pricing strategies.Build partnerships with local service providers to improve residual values.Create and implement new sales strategies for pre-owned vehicles.Monitor sales performance and KPIs.Support de-fleet processes for internal and company cars.Improve the pre-owned program to remain competitive and enhance customer experience.Recommend enhancements to the global pre-owned program based on local performance.RequirementsAt least 5 years' experience in automotive or related fields.Degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or similar.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and resource management skills.Analytical skills and data-driven decision-making experience.Proven project management abilities.Experience in large, complex companies or EV automotive industry is advantageous.Excellent English communication skills.Experience with data, financial, and market sales analysis.Ability to develop strategic partnerships and manage external stakeholders.
