* Finance Officer
Lawson Elliott is excited to be partnering with a leading organization in their field who are looking to welcome in a Finance Officer into their team on an ongoing temporary basis. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone who is well experienced in high volume Accounts Payable processing environments, works well autonomously and has a willingness to learn, as your role will encompass a wide variety of accounting and finance responsibilities for their clients.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Process supplier invoices, credit notes and payments
* High-volume bank and credit card reconciliations
* Assist with project work for a new invoicing system
* Handling queries via phone and email
* Contribute to end-of-month and year-end financial close activities
* Engaging with internal and external stakeholders regarding reporting
* Ad hoc duties as required
To be considered for this role, it would be advantageous to have:
* At least 3+ years’ experience within a similar role
* Great written and verbal communication
* Experience with large ERP systems desired
* Exceptional attention-to-detail
* Prior experience within large, high-volume environments
