About the role
Join the team at SPL Security Solutions as an Electronics Service Technician to service, maintain and commission a wide range of electronic security products and installation of security equipment. This includes:
* Access control systems
* Alarm systems
* CCTV systems
* Intercom systems
* MATV systems
Electronic Access Control and Alarms: Inner Range – Concept, Integrity, Inception, Tecom – Forcefield, Gallagher, Salto, Bosch, Paradox.
IP Based CCTV Solutions: Genetec, DVTEL, Milestone, Avigilon, Pelco, Teleste, Dallmeier, Panasonic, Indigo Vision, VMS, HikVision.
This is a full-time role based in Bundall, QLD and you will be a part of our growing team maintaining and repairing our clients' security solutions to the highest standard.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose, repair and service electronic security systems and equipment
* Perform scheduled maintenance and testing on installed security systems
* Liaise with clients to understand and resolve any technical issues
* Provide expert advice and recommendations on security system upgrades and improvements
* Maintain detailed records of all service and repair work
* Support the wider team with any technical tasks as needed
What we're looking for
* Relevant technical qualification in electronics or a related field
* Proven experience as an electronics or security systems technician
* Strong knowledge of electronic security systems and equipment, including CCTV, access control and intruder alarms
* Competency in IP Video, Network Switches and Infrastructure
* Demonstrated knowledge of IP Networks
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information effectively
* A valid driver's licence
* Security License and Cabling License essential
