About the Role
We are seeking experienced Companion Care Workers to support clients across the Sutherland Shire region.
This role focuses primarily on companionship, social support and light domestic assistance.
* Typical visits range from 2–6 hours
* Mix of weekday shifts, with some weekend availability preferred
* Flexible casual opportunities
* Must be living locally to the Sutherland Shire area
In This Role, You Will:
* Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement
* Assist with light domestic duties
* Support clients with shopping and appointments
* Encourage participation in social and community activities
* Monitor wellbeing and report updates to the care team
* Help clients maintain independence and confidence at home
Must Haves
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Current National Police Check
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
* Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
* Authorised to work in Australia
* Living locally to the Sutherland Shire area
Nice to Haves
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support
* Experience in Community Aged Care and/or Disability Support
* Availability for morning and mid-morning weekday shifts
* Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
