Overview
East Gippsland Shire Council invites applications for a casual Lifeguard and Customer Service Officer at the Aquadome. This role combines lifeguarding, reception and customer service tasks across a 7-day roster including mornings, evenings and weekends. This is a casual position with variable hours.
What You'll Take On
As a Lifeguard and Customer Service Officer, you'll supervise all patrons in the pool to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. You'll be responsible for providing a high level of quality service at reception and over the telephone. You'll also be part of various daily activities involved in the day-to-day customer service operations.
Responsibilities
* Deliver friendly, helpful customer service and handle conflicts with patrons in a calm and respectful way.
* Maintain a neat and professional appearance while on duty.
* Understanding and use of point-of-sale systems with knowledge of club membership processes.
* Work well as part of a team, follow policies and procedures and support a positive workplace environment.
Qualifications and Licenses
* Employee Working with Children Check
* First Aid and CPR
* Current Pool Lifeguard certificate
