SciDev is seeking a capable and proactive Project Engineer - Electrical to support the delivery of critical water infrastructure works at the Rum Jungle site in Darwin.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, this role will be responsible to assist in the management of the technical and engineering disciplines of the project from start to finish.
With a strong focus on electrical, as well as including project QHSE requirements that support the delivery of water treatment services across the Rum Jungle project.
What you'll do:
* Technical management: ensure all project deliverables are in line with SciDev's technical requirements and quality standards.
* Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, IFC packages, construction methodologies and sequencing.
* Assist with Installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the groundwater dewatering and water treatment infrastructure.
* Support project planning, scheduling and coordination of on-site and off-site resources.
* Drive on-site QHSE performance and behaviours, incident reporting and corrective actions as per Site Management plans.
* Oversee and support quality assurance processes and control procedures.
* Maintain all project documentation, including QHSE records, drawings, specifications and submittals.
* Assist in the development and reporting of project financials.
* Address and resolve operational issues promptly to maintain stakeholder satisfaction

About You:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
* 3+ Years of site experience in engineering, construction or similar.
* Proven commitment to QHSE principles and continuous improvement.
* Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
* Good understanding of water industry regulations, standards, and best practice methodologies.
