About the Role
We're seeking a Lead Electrician to head up our national service and maintenance operations. You'll lead a skilled team of electricians and technicians, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of installed assets across Australia.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee fault response, preventative maintenance, remote diagnostics, and technical support. You'll also play a key role in shaping service delivery standards and fostering a high-performance, safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
Service, Maintenance & Repairs
* Lead preventative and reactive maintenance across installed assets
* Oversee fault diagnosis, remote troubleshooting, and repair work
* Maintain service records and implement proactive maintenance schedules
* Ensure accurate invoicing and billing via Microsoft Business Central
Team Leadership
* Manage and develop a national team of electricians and contractors
* Set and monitor KPIs for response times, repair quality, and customer satisfaction
* Promote a safety-first, service-focused team culture
Safety & Quality Auditing
* Implement national safety inspections and quality audits
* Ensure compliance with AS/NZS standards and internal safety policies
* Investigate incidents and collaborate on corrective actions
Technical Support & Commissioning
* Provide Level 4 technical support to internal and external stakeholders
* Oversee remote and on-site commissioning processes
* Support software integration where relevant (e.g., OCPP configuration)
What You'll Bring
Essential:
* NSW Electrical Licence (Unrestricted)
* 5+ years in service/field support roles, including supervision or team leadership
* Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards (e.g. AS/NZS 3000)
* Proven experience in fault finding, repairs, asset maintenance & remote diagnostics
* Solid understanding of WHS legislation and safe work practices
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* High attention to detail and documentation standards
Desirable:
* Experience in EV charging, solar, or industrial electrical systems
* Familiarity with OCPP or other remote energy management platforms
* CEC accreditation or relevant training
* Certificate IV in Leadership & Management
* Audit or inspection experience
