* Limited Term Part Time (48 hours per fortnight) from 19/01/2026 - 08/02/2027
* Located in: Learning Hub, Frankston Hospital

On 1st January 2026, five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health; a newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.

The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1st January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.


Team & Role

The Midwifery Clinical Educator is an integral member of the Peninsula Health Learning Hub and the Women's and Children's Health teams. The Women's and Children's Clinical Educator demonstrates flexibility in supporting all levels of staff across the organisation; with particular focus on education to mitigate risk, advancing midwifery practice and developing staff along the novice to expert continuum. The Midwifery Clinical Educator works competently within their scope of practice delivering and facilitating education in compliance with evidence‑based practice as well as hospital policy and guidelines. This position will participate in the delivery of support services offered by the Learning Hub as well as assist with the planning, development, coordination, implementation, delivery and evaluation of education services for Peninsula Health.

Skills and Experience Required

* Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife with either an Undergraduate or Post Graduate Qualification in Midwifery
* Prior experience in teaching or supporting learners
* Current and extensive experience of working within a Maternity Service
