We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our successful team at a leading provider of Waste and Recycling services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving organisation and play a pivotal role in their financial management. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accounts Payable: Managing the complete cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
* Banking: Overseeing all banking activities, including reconciliation and maintaining accurate records.
* Payroll: Managing the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Financial Reporting: The preparation of financial reports for internal and external clients.
* Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing improvements to existing financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial & WHS regulations and legal requirements.
* General Ledger Management: Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger.
* Workplace Health and Safety: Manage work cover and return to work.
* Human Resources: Staff onboarding and release.
To assist you in fulfilling your duties, you will have an accounts administration officer working with you. Within your role, you will report directly to the Company Accountant and work collaboratively with the Directors, contributing effectively to the business.
Requirements:
* Proven experience: As a Finance Manager or similar role.
* Strong understanding: Of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Proficiency: In accounting software packages (e.g Reckon).
* Office 365: Proficient in Office 365, particularly Excel.
* Excellent organisational skills: With strong time-management and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills: With the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
