YDL Stone is one of Australia's leading suppliers of decorative surfaces products. We supply silica-free mineral, porcelain & natural stone. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Account Manager to join our fast and dynamic team with a great culture.
About the Role
This role is preferably suited for someone based in the South Brisbane Region. You will be responsible for growing the existing business with a strong focus on also generating new business in your area by building relationships, generating leads, and promoting a range of quality products to various stone fabricators and cabinet makers in South Brisbane – Toowoomba areas. Our office is based in Stapylton 4207 and is on the southern end of this area.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate or provide the following:
* Previous sales experience in the building industry is preferred. It is advantageous within the kitchen company trades.
* Previous sales experience in natural stone is highly regarded.
* Hold a current full QLD Driver Licence
* Require confidence and competence in using various computer software & mobile APPs, mainly Microsoft Office Word and Excel, CRM, etc.
* Excellent communication skills, listening skills, and attention to detail
* “Can-do” enthusiastic attitude.
* Ability to build strong natural relationships with existing and new customers.
* Excellent time management skills to make sure every customer is seen on a regular basis.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment with focus that may change in an instant.
* Able to work within a team to all achieve the same result.
* Be confident in asking for business and knowing the time to do so.
* Able to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets & KPI's set by the company.
* Able to work autonomously in a mobile setting.
* Able to handle customer complaints and attend to site inspections.
* Occasional out of hours of work may be required to attend exhibition shows.
* Be able to work in a retail showroom environment
