Job Responsibilities
* Drive and improve sales results and performance to meet sales targets
* Manage distributor relationships in your designated area
* Actively call on end users to promote total company products
* Develop and execute customer sales plans
* Assist Product Managers on market surveys
* Establish plans to grow sales with existing customers, in addition to growing sales with new customers
* Partner with end users and distributors to identify new opportunities
* Project work from time to time
* Maintain a high standard of ethics and consistency when dealing with fellow employees
* Any other duties as directed by the Regional Sales Manager
Job Requirements
* Have a Trade certificate or Engineering degree or equivalent.
* Trade background and at least 5 years' experience in an Industrial Sales position
* Must have excellent knowledge in welding and cutting processes and associated equipment/consumables
* Along with welding applications in engineering, fabrication, mining, oil and gas or pipelines
* A minimum of 5 years in a similar sales role – selling within the industrial market
* Skills/Knowledge:
* SAP
* Salesforce or similar CRM
