Come join the Mental Health Review Tribunal as a Team Leader, Hearing Coordination, where you will be responsible for the direct supervision, management, training and mentoring of Hearings Coordination staff.As a Team Leader Hearing Coordination, you will proactively identify and manage significant and/or complex problems that occur in relation to hearings.
You will provide liaison and high level support to Tribunal members, including responding to complex matters.
Additionally, you will supervise the Hearings Coordination Team's management of responses to inquiries from consumers, Tribunal members, health service providers, and other stakeholders, and be responsible to respond to inquiries of a complex nature personally, or by referral to a more senior officer where appropriate.
Role Fit
Demonstrated experience in successfully training, leading, and mentoring staff to meet organisational and legislative objectives.
Demonstrated independent initiative, decision making skills, and problem-solving skills including the ability to identify issues in advance and exercise sound judgement to respond effectively to complex matters within a limited time frame whilst ensuring satisfactory outcomes.
Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders.
