Maintenance Officer
This is a key position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our environment.
* You will perform a variety of general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Our ideal candidate will have formal trade qualifications or practical work experience demonstrating basic trade skills, as well as a current First Aid Certificate and manual license.
Core Skills Required
* Preventative and reactive maintenance experience
* Basic plumbing (e.g., replacing washers, connecting appliances)
* Basic electrical knowledge (e.g., testing outlets, replacing batteries)
* Use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and vehicles
* Ability to identify and report major repair needs
Facilities and Grounds Maintenance
* Landscaping and garden maintenance
* Operation of machinery (e.g., lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws)
* Irrigation and reticulation system maintenance
