The Opportunity
We are seeking a Corrosion Engineer / Corrosion Consultant to support client projects across asset integrity, failure analysis, and corrosion testing. This is a hands‑on technical role combining laboratory work, field/industry problem solving, and client‑facing consulting.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations
* Perform materials testing, coating qualification testing, and other corrosion‑related laboratory testing
* Produce clear, detailed technical reports with practical recommendations for clients
* Advise on corrosion prevention and mitigation strategies aligned with standards and site realities
* Work with cross‑functional teams to develop solutions to complex corrosion issues
* Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practice in corrosion management
* Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory procedures and testing protocols
* Support project management activities and client communication to ensure successful delivery
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Engineering (Materials/Metallurgical/Mechanical/Chemical or similar)
* Minimum 2 years' experience in corrosion engineering/consulting or a similar technical role
* Demonstrated expertise in materials, coatings, and corrosion investigation/testing
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication, with confidence presenting findings to clients
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., AS/NZS, NACE/AMPP, ISO, API)
* Competent with laboratory equipment and data analysis tools
* Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a technical team
