Our brand is growing nationally and we're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive club performance, support franchise growth, and lift operational and sales standards across the network.
Based at our Head Office in Broadbeach, this role is suited to a commercially driven leader with proven club management and sales management experience who can coach, influence, and hold teams accountable.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver weekly KPI reporting and performance analysis to assess club and network performance, providing actionable insights and coaching to club leadership teams.
* Provide hands-on operational and sales support during pre-sales, ensuring systems, processes, and teams are set up for optimal launch and growth outcomes.
* Oversee sales system implementation, team onboarding, and structured sales training, ensuring consistency and alignment with national standards.
* Attend new club openings, identifying operational risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for immediate improvement.
* Provide ongoing operational support to Club General Managers and Heads of Department on the ground and virtually.
* Conduct regular on-site club visits, delivering targeted coaching, operational audits, and improvement plans to drive network-wide standards.
* Support the rollout and execution of national initiatives, systems, and strategic projects, reporting progress, risks, and outcomes directly to Senior Management.
* Collaborate with the broader Head Office team to analyse operational and sales data, identify trends, and recommend strategies to improve club performance and commercial outcomes.
Essential Experience & Skills
* Proven club management experience within the fitness industry, with the ability to translate in-club operations into scalable, network-wide standards.
* Demonstrated sales management capability, including sales systems, team onboarding, conversion optimisation, and performance coaching.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse KPIs, budgets, and operational data to identify risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.
* Experience preparing clear, actionable reporting and insights for senior leadership.
* Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage, influence, and challenge executives, franchisees, senior leaders, and suppliers.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced Head Office environment.
* Willingness to travel nationally to support clubs, pre-sales, and key operational initiatives as required.
* Available to work full-time, on-site at Head Office.
