Description
We're inviting applications from clinicians interested in joining our Hospital in the Home service as either a Visiting Medical Officer or Staff Specialist. Applicants may apply to work at Coffs Harbour, Kempsey or both sites.
This role provides medical leadership and high-quality clinical care within an established multidisciplinary team. You'll support HITH patients through direct medical management, virtual care, consultation, diagnostics and procedural input. The position also contributes to medical governance, service planning and the ongoing development of innovative models of care across the district.
The role reports operationally to the Director of Integrated Care, Allied Health and Community Services and professionally to the District Director MNCLHD HITH.
The successful applicant will be registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Physician, Emergency Medicine, or General Practitioner.
This is an opportunity to help shape HITH services across the Mid North Coast and contribute to new and emerging models of care.
