Nu‑Pure Beverages is a leading Australian beverage manufacturer with sites across NSW, Victoria, Western Australia, and Southeast Queensland. We are seeking a hands‑on, outcome‑driven Engineering Project Manager to lead capital project delivery across our manufacturing network.
This is a full‑time national role. The position can be based out of Sydney (Horsley Park), Melbourne (Truganina), or Southeast QLD (Stapylton), with regular travel to sites as required.
This role is NOT:
* A desk‑based role
* A coordination‑only role
* A role for someone learning project management
This role requires strong engineering judgement AND disciplined project management.
Please plan properly, control delivery closely, and deliver results.
What you will be accountable for
* End‑to‑end delivery of manufacturing capital projects — initiation through to commissioning and operational handover
* Owning schedule, cost, scope, and risk — and taking action when projects are off track
* Driving contractor performance, holding people to account, and resolving issues on site
* Leading tenders, scopes of work, budgets, and build programs
* Being physically present on-site during construction, installation, and commissioning
* Running structured project cadence: progress tracking, reporting, and decision escalation
* Partnering with Operations, Maintenance and Finance to deliver projects that work in production
* Ensuring all projects meet safety, GMP, quality and food manufacturing standards
Non‑negotiable experience
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Strong engineering background combined with proven project management capability
* Clear evidence of delivering manufacturing capital projects, not just supporting them
* Demonstrated ability to plan, control, and execute projects (not just manage tasks)
* Confidence in challenging contractors, designs, timelines, and costs
* Ability to read drawings, interrogate the scope, and solve problems on site
* A structured, disciplined approach to governance, reporting, and delivery
* Willingness to travel nationally (approximately 50%, project dependent)
Experience in beverage or food manufacturing environments is highly regarded.
