**About The Position**
Reporting to the General Manager, Minted Products you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the development of licensed products (collectible and investment coins featuring iconic licensed brands) with a focus on one major theme and one minor theme each year. The Category Manager Licensed Products role will be a key link between sales and product development.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Research and make Strategic recommendations to the Product Development Committee about new licenses to acquire.
- Liaise with Licensors and meet all requirements including legal requirements as per the license agreement and style guides in both design and marketing.
- Enter contract negotiations with help of legal team.
- Develop a range of product ideas for each License to maximise profitability and meet financial minimum guarantees set.
- Work with packaging specialist to deliver packaging to meet licensor requirements.
- Work with key accounts to deliver sales of licensed products.
- Work with key accounts to create new products for their markets.
- Project manage a range of non-licensed products Recommend work orders for Production.
- Attend Licensed Product Fairs if applicable.
- Ensure own safety and health at work and avoid adversely affecting the safety or health of any other person through any act or omission at work.
**About You**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area and / or equivalent workplace experience
- High level of stakeholder management, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of the licensing & licensed product industry is preferred
- Ability to manage a product category and maximise value
- Ability to manage product category with creative flair
- Ability to drive time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
