We are excited to be partnering with a major tourist destination on Phillip Island to deliver a safe and memorable visitor experience at one of Australia's most iconic wildlife attractions.
About the Role
We are seeking professional, customer-focused Security Officers to join our team at Phillip Island. This is a unique opportunity to combine security work with helping visitors experience native animals in their natural habitat.
Shifts run from an hour before sunset through to approximately 10pm - midnight, seven nights a week. Some later finishes will be required depending on visitor numbers, incidents, or special events, and flexibility with start and finish times will be required. Extensive training and site inductions will be provided prior to commencement.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist visitors with directions, parking, and accessing permitted areas
* Monitor and prevent the use of flash photography during viewing
* Provide excellent customer service and visitor engagement
* Support traffic management duties (training and accreditation can be provided)
* Lock up facilities across multiple sites
* Advise visitors at closing times and ensure safe vehicle removal from sites
* Assisting any injured wildlife (training provided)
* Support functions and special events on a casual basis when required

About You
* Professional presentation with strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
* Customer service mindset with a friendly and approachable manner
* Ability to remain calm and effective in dynamic environments
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varied conditions, including descent and ascent to nearby beaches
* Living on Phillip Island or within 30 minutes' travel is highly regarded
Requirements
* Current and valid Victorian Private Security Individual Licence (required)*
* Current Drivers Licence (required)
* Current First Aid Certificate (required)
* Working with Children Check (required)
* Traffic Management accreditation (advantageous, or training provided)
* Australian working rights (required)
* Multilingual skills will be highly regarded
* Living on Phillip Island or within 30 minutes' travel will be highly regarded
