We are on the lookout for an experienced **Procurement Specialist**.
**What awaits you?**
- You will be responsible for end-to-end tender management and within this, be responsible for steering supplier development and standardise and manage contractual agreements to minimise risk.
- You will be responsible for conducting cross functional sourcing projects, including supplier sourcing, the tender process, commercial negotiation, and contract negotiation.
- You will be responsible for all aspects of the tender process and documentation belongs to you, ensuring that market offers comply with BMW Group Purchasing and Compliance requirements.
- You will drive the analysis of tender proposals with the responsibility of evaluation, negotiation, recommendation as well as contract drafting.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a similar discipline required.
- Demonstrated experience in Procurement within the automotive industry is preferred, however a broad understanding across general commodities and exposure within the financial services/banking commodities will also be an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to professionally liaise with all stakeholders.
- Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and exposure to purchasing systems such as COUPA, as well as experience in SAP, is highly desirable.
- Possess a strong analytical mindset with the aptitude to interrogate systems to produce meaningful data.
