About the Role
We are seeking an
experienced Paralegal
to provide dedicated support to the Principal Solicitor across a diverse range of complex and high-value legal matters.
This role suits a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely and professional work.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Draft, file, and manage
court documents
including affidavits, originating processes, and discovery materials.
Prepare and review
commercial instruments
such as deeds, shareholder agreements, and loan documentation.
Manage
property transactions
including contracts of sale, settlements, and PEXA lodgements.
Assist with
family law proceedings
, including consent orders, affidavits, and mediation preparation.
Draft
Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Probate applications
and liaise with executors and beneficiaries.
Manage client files using
Smokeball
, coordinate with counsel, and handle electronic court filing.
What You Bring
3–5 years' experience as a
Paralegal or Legal Assistant
within a law firm.
Strong background across
commercial, property, family, and litigation
matters.
Excellent
drafting, organisation, and communication
skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage
complex, high-volume files independently
.
Proficiency with
Smokeball, PEXA, RedCrest, ComCourts, and EFAS
.
Relevant qualifications such as a
Diploma or Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
are highly regarded.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and an ability to prioritise quickly.
Team orientated with a confidence to contribute meaningfully and continuously improve.
