Responsibilities
Accounts Management: Oversee invoices, payments, and reconciliations ensuring accuracy and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Reporting & Compliance: Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, including journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, BAS, FBT, and fixed asset register maintenance.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR processes and handle multi-currency and foreign exchange transactions.
Financial Process Improvement: Contribute to refining financial systems and workflows to enhance efficiency.
Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll, superannuation, payroll tax, commissions, and manage leave liabilities and related reporting.
HR Support: Draft contracts, maintain HR records, assist with onboarding, reviews, and monitor staff leave entitlements.
Requirements
Experience in finance, accounts, or coordination roles, with comfort in processing accounts; other skills can be taught.
Proficient in Excel and Xero.
Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Strong communication skills and comfortable in small, agile teams.
Finance-related qualifications desirable; full Australian working rights required.
