Following the acquisition of RPQ by Downer, we are now undertaking the important task of transitioning the RPQ workforce into the Downer business. Based out of Brisbane and reporting into the Project Delivery Manager, this six to 12-month contract Change Manager role will assist in delivering a structured change management approach that supports employees through changes in systems, processes, roles, and organisational culture. You'll work closely with the workforce, senior leaders and other stakeholders to ensure that employees are informed, engaged and supported throughout the transition.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a change management plan aligned with project delivery.
* Lead communication, engagement, and training initiatives to support employee transition.
* Identify and manage change-related risks and issues.
* Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities in partnership with HR and Payroll.
* Ensure a positive employee experience with minimal disruption to business operations, while reinforcing Downer's values and cultural alignment.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Change Management or related field.
* Formal certification in Change Management desirable.
* Minimum 5 years' experience leading change initiatives in medium to large organisations.
* Proven success in workforce transitions, mergers, or organisational change.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication planning skills.
* Experience designing and delivering training programs to support change adoption.
