Coordinate daily delivery schedules and manage logistics planning as a key member of our team.
This role involves balancing customer service, cost efficiency, and scheduling to meet customer demand and plant capacity.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage day-to-day concrete delivery scheduling
- Commitment to safety standards with demonstrated leadership behaviors.
- Provide feedback for continuous improvement in delivery operations
- Ensure compliance with fatigue management and safety policies
- Escalate and report on delivery issues or disruptions
- Maintain strong communication with drivers and site teams
- Oversee and adjust schedules to meet customer demand and plant capacity
- Work closely with plant and fleet staff to optimize logistics
- Respond to jobsite changes and adjust schedules accordingly
- Liaise with external customers to ensure accurate and timely dispatch
- Allocating trucks for smooth operations and maximize delivery efficiency
**Required Skills and Experience:**
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Knowledge of WHS requirements
- Construction White card
- Current driver's license
- Prior experience in scheduling, dispatch or logistics coordination
- Sound computer literacy skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Problem-solving skills
