We're seeking applications from passionate Personal Carers to join our team.
The role involves providing care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life. You will spend time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients in their homes supporting daily activities.
* Provide in-home personal care: daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing.
* Assist with tasks in accordance with the individualized Care Plan.
* Support with community-based recreational and social activities.
* Provide transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for:
1. Delivering high-quality care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
2. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and their families.
3. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum).
* Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work.
* Experience with technology including smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
* Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
