As our next Maintenance Manager, you will:
Be responsible for managing motivating a team of Maintenance Assistants to ensure that our property functions like a well-oiled machine
Apply a service focused approach to managing contractor and guest requirements while you work to carry out scheduled maintenance
Communicate effectively at all levels, from the General Manager to guests and contractors working onsite
Work closely with all other departments including Housekeeping and Front Office to manage the issues at hand
Be required to report and track programmed maintenance as well as ensuring regular stakeholder communications via email and telephone
What we are looking for:
A strong leader with previous maintenance or engineering experience within a strata/MLR operation to take ownership of the maintenance department
Strong administrative and computer skills as well as exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills
A comprehensive financial understanding of managing a profitable operation, and familiarity with WHS legislation compliance would be advantageous
Availability to carry our emergency maintenance work outside of normal working hours, in the event of a full power failure, evacuation fire system re-set and/or failure of mechanical systems
