Rushmore Distributors is an Australian‐owned wholesale distribution business, proudly serving a diverse range of markets across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. Based in Glendenning, NSW, we represent over 100 leading brands across hardware, lighting, ventilation, electrical, cable accessories, datacomms, test and measurement, switchgear, automotive, and materials handling.
We service markets including Electrical Wholesale, Plumbing Wholesale, Industrial Wholesale, Automotive Wholesale, Commercial, Energy and Infrastructure, and Transport. With distribution centres in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Auckland, and Christchurch, we are a well‐established, growing business with a strong reputation for professionalism and service.
Now is an exciting time to join Rushmore as we embark on a major transformation of our core business systems — and we need an exceptional leader to bring it to life.
The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high‐impact, senior leadership role at the heart of Rushmore's most significant technology transformation in decades. We are migrating off a long‐standing legacy ERP system onto Pronto Xi — a modern platform purpose‐built for wholesale and distribution businesses — and we need an experienced Project Manager and Change Manager to own the full end‐to‐end delivery.
Reporting directly to the Commercial & Financial Manager and accountable to a senior steering committee, you will be the central force driving this programme across an estimated 14–18 month project lifecycle. You will coordinate internal teams, department champions, managers, and end users, working hand‐in‐hand with our Pronto Xi implementation partner to ensure the project lands on time, on scope, and with strong adoption across all 80 users.
This is not a back‐office role. You will be visible, hands‐on, and decisive — equally comfortable presenting to executives as you are running a workshop with warehouse supervisors.
What You'll Do
* Lead end‐to‐end delivery of the Pronto Xi ERP migration across all business units.
* Develop and manage the project plan, risk register, budget, and milestone reporting.
* Drive the change management programme — stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption.
* Facilitate steering committee reporting and escalation management.
* Coordinate and influence internal resources including department champions, managers, supervisors, and end users.
* Manage the relationship with the Pronto Xi implementation partner and external vendors.
* Oversee business readiness, cutover planning, and hyper‐care support.
* Document and review impacted business processes in preparation for go‐live.
What We're Looking For
* 8+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering ERP implementation or migration projects.
* Demonstrated change management experience — you know how to take people on a journey.
* Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or wholesale business environment.
* Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable working across executive, management, and operational levels.
* Change management certification or formal training (Prosci ADKAR, APMG, or equivalent).
* Outstanding communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation.
Highly Regarded
* Direct experience with Pronto Xi implementation or migration — this will set you apart.
* Familiarity with trade wholesale or distribution supply chain businesses.
* Experience delivering ERP projects in mid‐market environments (50–150 users).
This role is based at our Glendenning, NSW head office. Regular on‐site presence is essential given the operational nature of the project (no WFH option). Australian Citizens only — visa holders will not be considered for this position.
