For over 70 years Bethanie has been warmly welcoming older West Australians into a caring and personal environment. Our Bethanie community is enriched by the generous support of our caring volunteers.

Who we are looking for:

• Patient, caring, and reliable volunteers who have the heart and passion to help us bring joy and satisfaction to our residents' days.
• If you share a passion for enriching the lives of the elderly, this rewarding position is for you.

About the role:

• Bring laughter and joy to our residents at Bethanie Peel by spending time together playing a friendly game of Scrabble on a Wednesday afternoon, or we are flexible with days and timings.

Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months.

Type of Work: Companionship & social support, seniors & aged care.

Time required: Flexible hours on weekdays for a minimum commitment of six months.

Training: Volunteers undertake online Infection Control and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards training. All volunteers receive an orientation at site prior to commencement and further training when required.
