We are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our clients EUC/Desktop team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a Citrix support platform, including desktop and server infrastructure life cycle support. Your expertise in Citrix virtual desktop and Windows platforms will be essential in providing high-level technical support and ensuring exceptional customer service delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support for Citrix virtual desktop and Windows platforms, including servers and virtual desktops.
2. Ensure that a high standard of customer service is delivered by meeting relevant service level agreements and timeframes.
3. Support the Citrix platform, applications, components, and hardware requirements.
4. Act as an escalation point, representing team in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Identify trends and use problem-solving techniques to minimise the volume and impact of issues.
6. Collaborate with partners and vendors to understand their technology requirements and manage the delivery of solutions while effectively managing expectations.
Experience:
7. Proven experience in supporting Citrix virtual desktop and Windows platforms.
8. Strong technical expertise in Citrix platform, applications, and hardware requirements.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify trends and patterns.
10. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on meeting service level agreements.
11. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of representing End User Computing with stakeholders.
12. Experience managing end-user devices within a large enterprise environment is highly desirable.
