Job Title: Electronic Technician
This role is an opportunity to join our team and work in a challenging environment as an electronic technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electronic devices, including radios, optical instruments, navigational aids, laser range finding equipment, medical and dental equipment, electro-optical/ electro-hydraulic/ electro-mechanical systems, radar systems, electronic vehicle control systems and electronic surveillance and detection systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electronic systems and be able to read schematics and diagrams. They should also possess excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to use repair tools and test equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and repair electronic devices, including radios, optical instruments, navigational aids, laser range finding equipment, medical and dental equipment, electro-optical/ electro-hydraulic/ electro-mechanical systems, radar systems, electronic vehicle control systems and electronic surveillance and detection systems.
* Conduct service checks and perform routine maintenance to ensure electronic devices are functioning properly.
* Troubleshoot problems with electronic devices and make necessary repairs.
* Communicate effectively with operators, engineers and inspectors to understand problems and provide progress updates.
Requirements:
* Recognized Trade Certificate III of proficiency (Electro-technology) or equivalent qualification.
* Relevant qualifications and experience working with electronics or radios.

* Monday to Thursday: 06:45 - 15:30.
* Friday EKO: 07:00 - 12:00.
