The Opportunity We’re looking for a Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a collaborative clinical environment. In this role, you’ll support our clinicians across all aspects of the practice from chairside assisting and treatment preparation to maintaining infection control standards and delivering a seamless patient experience. The Impact You’ll Make Every day, you will: Deliver exceptional chairside assistance across a range of dental procedures Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and materials in line with clinical protocols Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilisation standards Support patient care by welcoming, preparing, and reassuring patients throughout their visit Assist with clinical documentation, charting, and imaging as required Contribute to efficient practice operations, including stock management and equipment care Collaborate with the wider team to create a supportive, professional, and patient-focused environment About You You are organised, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. We’re looking for: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant (essential) Proficiency in Dental 4 Windows (D4W) software (essential) Certificate III in Dental Assisting (desirable) Experience across chairside assisting, sterilisation, and reception support Strong understanding of infection control and sterilisation protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively Professional presentation and a positive, team-oriented mindset Commitment to workplace health & safety and clinical compliance requirements Why Join Coastal Dental Care?
