What You'll Be Doing
* Drive Growth: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets and forecasts. Much of our new business is inbound, so you won't be required to do much outbound sales.
* Relationship Management: Develop, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with new and existing account clients, builders, engineers, and suppliers.
* Solution Sales: Receive and respond to new inquiries, discuss technical specifications, and make expert suggestions to ensure the best outcome for the client using our product offering.
* Quoting & Negotiation: Prepare accurate estimates and quotes for fabrication and erection. Follow up on open proposals and negotiate effectively to secure orders.
* Project Coordination: Act as the central liaison, coordinating closely with internal Design, Drafting, Production, and Erection teams to ensure client expectations and deadlines are met.
* Administration: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, update all client information, opportunities, and proposals in the CRM system.
* Representation: Professionally represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client site inspections.
* Service Excellence: Provide exceptional after-sales communication to ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
What You'll Bring
* Ideally you will bring account management experience with some knowledge or experience of the building materials or construction industries, however we are open to considering different backgrounds provided you have an interest in this sector.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* A proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused approach.
* We are interested in hearing from a range of candidate backgrounds: you may bring years of sales experience, or perhaps you have a great knowledge of the building and construction industry, potentially with a trade background, regardless we would love to hear from you.
