Additional Information:
- - These roles are:
o Permanent Part-time, 30-40hrs/fortnight
o Temporary Part-time, 30-40hrs/fortnight until February 2026
- - Applications close Thursday 9 October 2025
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
- If your application is progressed, you will be required to attend a Group Assessment Centre on Wednesday 15 October 2025
About this work area
As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- - Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
- Food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels.
- Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake.
- Active selling, cash handling and customer service
- Operation of ovens and fryers
As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are:
- - Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
- Experienced with working in a rapid paced, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
- Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
- Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
