Job Summary
The ICT Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in analysing, developing and optimising the company's information technology systems to drive operational efficiency, sales growth and customer satisfaction within the furniture industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet with stakeholders to capture requirements for sales, stock control, supplier orders and customer service processes.
* Analyse order processing from showroom and online channels to delivery; identify inefficiencies in inventory tracking, logistics or customer order follow-ups.
* Develop project plans for new furniture design rollouts, website updates or CRM integrations; manage timelines, costs and resource allocation.
* Coordinate system releases and collaborate with IT teams for end-to-end testing of online store features, payment gateways and delivery tracking modules to ensure quality and accuracy.
* Create user manuals for staff; prepare training materials and run sessions to facilitate smooth adoption of systems.
* Prepare functional specifications for system developers and vendors.
* Develop data flow diagrams for stock movement, order processing using insights to recommend workflow improvements.
* Advise management on business growth, vendor selection or process changes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business Systems or related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
* Experience in ERP, CRM, POS and e-commerce systems, preferably within retail or wholesale environments.
* At least one year of experience in relevant field is required.
* Knowledge of data analysis, business intelligence and reporting tools.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
* Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management processes in the retail/furniture sector is advantageous.
