About Our Client
Our client is a leading contractor delivering large-scale mining and civil projects across Queensland. They have a strong focus on safety, efficiency and supporting their crews with quality equipment and facilities.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be working as a Diesel Fitter carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of heavy mining equipment on site at Phosphate Hill. This includes working across loaders, excavators, dozers, haul trucks and graders.
What You Will Need:
- Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter with proven experience in mining/heavy industry
- Experience maintaining and repairing some or all of the following:
- Komatsu WA600/WA500 loaders
- PC300/PC200/PC1250 excavators
- D65P dozers
- HD785 haul trucks
- Hitachi ZX470/EX1900 excavators
- Caterpillar 14M graders
- Ability to work 7/7 roster (alternating day and night shifts – more night shifts than day)
- Current driver’s licence and relevant tickets
