Our client is an established multidisciplinary allied health provider who are seeking an enthusiastic New Graduate Speech Pathologist to join their team. This is a community based position which is based around Melbourne's Western suburbs - as a new graduate you’ll be supported by strong systems, experienced leaders and a warm close-knit team. This role is suitable for an individual who is looking to build confidence, clinical skills and independence in a supportive environment. About the role Mobile community-based role across West Melbourne Work across the lifespan, with caseloads matched to your interests and skills Complex clients are never assigned without support – you’ll attend jointly with a senior clinician where needed You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team including Speech Pathologists, OTs and Physiotherapists What's on Offer Generous New Graduate salary ($80,000) and great PD allowance ($2,000) Structured onboarding program, including shadowing with supervisors, peers and the MDT Weekly 1:1 supervision with clinical lead and senior clinicians Complete shadowing sessions with supervisors and experienced clinicians Fortnightly team meetings and regular educational sessions No billable targets for your first 3 months - gradual build up in caseload! Emphasis on a work-life balance with options to work full-time, part-time and 9-day fortnight Strong focus on team culture and connection with regular social events/team bonding days Company car can be provided or choose a $8,000 annual vehicle allowance As a New Graduate Speech Pathologist, you’ll Provide therapy in community settings (travelling no more than 30 minutes from your home) to a range of NDIS and private clients. Work with a varied caseload of clients across paediatric/mixed aged and client referrals will be tailored to your area of interest.
